Subject: Night Elf Rogue Ailla (left) and Warlock Kataistalla (right), just outside Stormwind's gates
World of Warcraft fan art commissioned by Ailla. As of this writing, I've just submitted and am eagerly waiting for a response from Blizzard's Fan Art Program, to see whether they'll post it on their website or not. *crosses fingers* ^o^
Now I've done WoW fanart before -- mostly sketches of my dwarf paladin that'll stay in my sketchbook -- but this is my first time making such a huge complex piece AND posting it. I gotta say I wouldn't mind doing more WoW commissions, although I'll not be in a position to accept gold as payment until I renew my subscription.
Pretty! Love the little thoughts each is having ... and the background is superb!

DOOoooooD that's hella complex!
Really nice texture-y details on the grounds (rock, earth, wood, etc) the nice atmospheric perspective of the city in the distance, the character designs are cool, but man the thought bubbles are hilarious.
Makes me think of those ex-best-friends-now-totally-hating-each-other-who-have-not-seen-each-other-for-a-long-time-so-they're-putting-up-a-front.
Nice picture, I love it! This is a for sure. That would be such a romantic picture if it wasn't for the thought bubbles, which is what makes it so darn funny XD!
I love it!!!!
Great art work, too

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
